Logan County commissioners are scheduled to discuss a road-use agreement involving Niyol Wind at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 15, 2026. The item is on the commissioners’ work-session agenda.
Niyol Wind Energy Center is a 200-megawatt, 74-turbine project near Fleming that was commissioned in 2021, according to Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association. The agenda does not specify whether the agreement concerns that facility or another Niyol Wind project.
The agenda does not include the agreement’s terms, including the roads or facilities covered, fees, damage payments, maintenance or restoration requirements, traffic controls, vehicle restrictions, duration or start date.
