Sterling expected its sewer repair near Northeastern Junior College to be finished before Thanksgiving, according to a City Manager update presented at the Oct. 13 council meeting. The update put the cost in the $1.7 million range.

That schedule was later than the city’s previous expectation that the repair would be finished by the end of October, reported at the Sept. 22 council meeting. The City Manager’s Oct. 13 update gave a new expected timeframe; it did not confirm the repair was complete.
